Join our mailing list to receive updates from Missouri Allies of School Libraries!
Missouri Allies for School Libraries seeks to connect stakeholders with the resources, information, and support needed to protect our school libraries from book banning, incendiary speech, and harassment. School libraries are an important cornerstone of our schools and communities.
Library allies are committed to doing the following actions as needed:
- Speaking up at school board meetings to support intellectual freedom and reduce the number of books banned
- Sharing positive stories about the impact school libraries have on our lives, our students’ lives, and our democracy as a whole
- Joining committees, task forces, and other groups where decisions are made that impact school libraries
